Kwara’s Governor, Ahmed Dissolves Cabinet


ILORIN – The re-elected executive governor of Kwara state,Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed on Monday dissolved his state executive council cabinet with immediate effect. Also affected are Special Advisers,Senior Special‎ Assistants,Special Assistants,Liaison Officers and Youth Employment Coordinators. This is contained in a press statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government(SSG)Alh Isiaka Gold made available to journalists in ilorin. Also affected according to
the statement‎ are all boards of government owned companies,commissions,parastatals and organisations other than those of statutory status. The governor in the statement also directed the commissioners to hand over government’s properties in their custody to permanent secretaries,while heads of other MDAS must hand over to the most senior officer in their establishment. ‎Meantime,the governor thanked all the affected political office holders for what he described as their immeasurable ‎contributions to the success of his administration in the last four years and wishes them success in their future endeavours. He also looks forward to a continued robust partnership to move the state forward,the statement added.
