The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign state of Biafra has appealed to Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state to release some Igbo traders unlawfully detained in the State since December,
2016.In a statement made available to Punch correspondent in Awka, Anambra State on Sunday, by MASSOB’s National Director of Information, Samuel Edeson, the group said as a friend of Biafra and the masses, it was not expected that the victims would suffer such fate in a state saddled by Fayose.The Biafra agitators expressed worry that since December last year the victims had not been arraigned before any court as all efforts to do so were being frustrated by Ekiti security agents.
It expressed optimism that the fate of the victims would change any time Fayose would intervene.
