A lot of people in Nigeria feel that there is no need to imbibe the Western culture of Halloween as it is not a part of our tradition, but in recent years more and more people have started to get into the spirit of things.
True, you may not see kids knocking at your door and asking ‘Trick or Treat?’ and you may not see your neighbours lawn lit up with Jack’O lanterns – but you will definitely see one or two costumes, especially if you go to a party.
This year the Nigerian celebrities really did get into the spirit of things and from Iyanya, Ice Prince, the PSquare brothers, Eldee, Lynxx, Stella Damasus, Osi Suave, Adaeze Yobo and more, we have picture proof that Halloween in Nigeria is becoming a thing.
Check out all the costumes from the African celebs!
