Lagos state governorship aspirant, Akinwunmi Ambode won APC’s ticket.
51-year-old Ambode won the election which was held today, December 4, and had about 3000 APC delegates in attendance.
The former Accountant General of the state had to go head to head in a tough battle with other aspirants such as former Attorney-General of the state, Olasupo Shasore, who reportedly had the support of Governor Babatunde Fashola, and the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, Dr. Leke Pitan among others.
As the winner of the primaries, Ambode is expected to represent the APC at the 2015 Lagos governorship elections.
Which most are predicting won’t go in favor of APC, what do you think?
