Nyanya Bombing Suspect Demands N100m Compensation From FG

The suspected mastermind behind Twin bomb explosions that happened in Abuja on April 14, 2014 which killed over 75 persons and injured 100 others at a crowded park in Nyanya Abuja has demanded N100 million from FG.


Ogwuche said FG must pay for the false accusation. His lawayer, Mr Ahmed Raji also demanded a published apology in two national newspapers.
Ogwuche said the court should make an order releasing him on bail and preventing the DSS from further arresting or detaining him, or in the alternative charge him to court within 48hrs of the court granting his orders.
He argued that it’s illegal for the DSS to detain an accused person in its custody without arranging him over commission of any act of criminality. Also he insisted that his continued stay in DSS custody is synonymous to a gross abuse of his fundamental rights.
The two court charge brought against Ogwuche was struck out by a Federal High Court in Abuja on November 24, 2014.
