Wife of the Oba Lumure Ayelomi of Ayeka in Okitipupa area of Ondo State has been found dead 10 days after she was reportedly kidnapped.

Her corpse was reportedly found at the meeting point chosen by the abductors for the family to bring the ransom to.
Vanguard reports that the monarch’s wife was abducted by five kidnappers at her residence along Erinje Road, Okitipupa. The kidnappers contacted her family two days after she was abducted and demanded for N30 million ransom. The family later negotiated with the kidnappers who agreed to take N2 million after several pleading.

A disagreement ensued among the abductors that the amount agreed upon was too meager, reports Vanguard, citing police sources.
After changing the rendezvous twice, the kidnappers still failed to meet the monarch wife’s family.
