The Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Suleiman Abba, has restored the police escorts of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal.
The development came just days after the Department of State Service took the first step by restoring Tambuwal’s DSS operatives. The speaker’s office confirmed to The PUNCH a few minutes ago that policemen had arrived Tambuwal’s residence to resume duties, about six months after Abba withdrew them on October 28, 2014.
