Late Senator Uche Chukwumerije who died on April 18th at age 76 was laid to rest yesterday May 22nd at Unity Square, Nkwoagu, Isuochi, in Umunneochi LGA of Abia State, his home town, amidst eulogies. His body arrived the square at about 3p.m., from Enugu. Some notable guests at the ceremony were, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Chief Ben Ndi Obi, chairman of the national burial committee; Prof. Alphonsus Nwosu, David Mark, Chris Ngige, Willie Obiano, and others.
