No fewer than 40 houses have been consumed by an raging inferno after a diesel-laden truck crashed and burst into flame in the Idimu, Egbe Idimu Local Council Development Area of Lagos around 1am on Saturday. Details of the crash are still sketchy but emergency agencies said on Saturday that it was too early to know if any one died in the inferno, which was said to have been fueled by the contents of the tanker, which spilled and spread along the road and its environs after it crashed.
