The Rivers State Waste Management Agency has terminated Ten waste management contractors in the state. The Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency, Chief Felix Obuah, had on Friday 6h June 2015 warned the refuse contractors and other service providers (sweepers) to
clear the garbage and keep the state capital clean or risk losing their jobs. But the contractors refuse due to non-payment of their four months salaries by the immediate past administration. The ten waste management contractors was terminated for refusing to return to work.
