A bomb blast just occurred outside the federal high court 1, Port Harcourt where justice Lambo Akanbi reportedly delivered a crucial ruling this morning, July 9, 2015. The ruling saw the dissolution of 22 APC Local Government Chairmen from the councils in the State. Justice Akanbi who presided said that the Amaechi led administration to go ahead with the conduct of local
government election on May 23, was a flagrant abuse of court process and a total disregard for he rule of law. Akanbi explained that the council election defiled the rule of law because it was conducted despite court order asking all parties to maintain status quo. Meanwhile, causality details still unknown from the bomb blast.
