Six persons feared died and seven others injured as gunmen open fired on Saturday at Agboncha market in Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State. According an eyewitness, the gunmen came to the market on Saturday evening and started shooting without an aim. Some of the eyewitness said that the gunmen are suspected cultist that disturb the area. Reacting to the issue, the Chairman caretaker committee of Eleme Local Government Area Mr. Philip Okparaji, gave all the cultists in the area seven days to renounce the cult or face the consequences.
