Kidnapped PDP Chieftain’s Wife Found Dead, As Chairman Says It Has A Political Undertone


Wife of a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State, southern Nigeria, Mrs. Ebire Ejor, who was on Sunday, 5 July, 2015, kidnapped by suspected hired assassins in Port Harcourt, has been found dead. Her body was discovered in a remote village around Eagle Island, a Port Harcourt suburb, in the early hours of Tuesday, July 7. The Chairman of the Rivers State chapter of PDP, Bro Felix Obuah, who broke the sad news, strongly condemned the gruesome murder of Mrs.
Ejor, wife of a chieftain of the party and former Executive Chairman of Eleme Local Government Council, Chief Ejor Ngowah Ejor. The PDP Chairman described the killing as unwarranted, barbaric and shocking to the PDP family, saying the manner she was abducted, and later killed clearly exposed political undertone in the sad incident.
