Lagos Gov. Ambode To Reintroduce Computer-Based Tests In Schools

Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has said that his administration will reintroduce computer based tests in all its public secondary schools. He said the decision was to prepare students adequately for post secondary school examinations, particularly the University Matriculation Examination, which is now computer-based. The governor said the state would continue to encourage
private sector participation in education, while ensuring that quality and standard is not compromised.
Ambode stressed the need for constant review of the educational curriculum in schools to reflect current challenges in the nation. He maintained that for the state government to achieve its goal of raising a new generation of responsible leaders, the educational system   must undergo a wide range of reforms.
