The Department of Petroleum Resources in Rivers State has shut down forty (40) filling Station from operation in the State. These was done over the weekend. According to report, the stations were closed down for under dispensing and over pricing of the petroleum products. Some dealers in some areas still sold products above the approved pump price that is, above N87 Naria to N120. While others cheating in terms of pumps. Meaning Kerosene is being sold for N140 per liter instead of N50 per liter. Some of the stations closed down are located along Waterlines, Ada George Road and Choba Area of Rivers State.
