Student Dies After Visiting Sister’s Husband In Lagos

A 23-year-old lady, identified only as Oluwakemi, was found on Sunday foaming in the mouth, after which she died in a hospital. Punch learnt that Oluwakemi, who was said to be a student of a polytechnic in Oyo State, had come to Capacci, Mowe, Ogun State, two weeks ago to stay with a friend for a church convention. It was gathered that when the convention was over, Oluwakemi said she would be visiting her brother-in-law in an unidentified area in Lagos before returning to the
campus. Punch correspondent learnt that Oluwakemi went on the visit on Saturday, but came back to complain about headache. On Sunday when the friend and neighbours left the house for the church, Oluwakemi reportedly stayed behind.
The matter was said to have been reported at the Redeemed Police Division, Mowe. “The family members have come from Ibadan to take her corpse.''Punch correspondent learnt that the family had requested the lady’s corpse from the police for burial. The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Muyiwa Adejobi, confirmed the incident. He added that the case was reported as sudden death.
