Students Of Federal College Of Agriculture, Ibadan Protest Death Of Student

Students of the Federal College of Agriculture, Moore Plantation, Apata, Ibadan, took to Ibadan-Abeokuta expressway the road which their school is located to protest the death of one of their students who was knocked down at the front of the school gate by a learner. According to the students, one of them, simply known as Aminu was knocked down by a learner yesterday as he attempted to cross the express road. He will be the 3rd student to die this week as two people were
earlier knocked down during the week. Stop killing us, the students told motorists, as they were forced to park and wind down to hear them. We learnt Aminu made it to the hospital alive, but a major surgery was meant to be carried out on him which will eventually cost N1.5m, but sadly he passed on early hours of this morning and students took to the express way to demonstrate their anger. A lot of motorists were also asked to turn back as they blocked the road with burning tyres, planks and other heavy objects
