Independence Day: Federal Government Declares Thurday October 1, Public Holiday

The Federal government has declared Thursday,  October 1 a public holiday to mark Nigeria's 55th

 independence celebration. This year's celebration will be low key as the President approved only 70 million naira for the festivities.
