FG Declares 1st January 2016 As Public Holiday

The Federal Government has declared Friday, January 1, 2016 as public holiday to mark the New Year celebration. the Minister of Interior, Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (retd) made declaration on

behalf of the Federal Government. He called on Nigerians, irrespective of their religious inclinations, to inculcate the spirit of the season to continue to promote the unity of the country in its progress towards building a nation devoid of rancour and bitterness.
