Six Lawmakers Suspended Indefinitely Over Nasarawa Assembly Crisis

The crisis in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly deepened yesterday after six of the legislators were put on indefinite suspension for their alleged role in the free for all on the floor of the House on
Monday.The six legislators that were suspended are Abubakar Kana, APC- Kokona West; Kassim Kassim, APC-Akwanga South; Mohammed Okpoku, APC- Udega/Loko; Makpa Malla,
APC-Wamba; Musa Ali, APC-Keffi East; and Murtala Sodangi, APC-Nasarawa Central.All six belonging to the All Progressives Congress, APC the ruling party in the state were allegedly in the forefront of the campaign to stop the governor’s unilateral appointment of sole administrators for the 11 local councils in the state.
