30 Has Been Confirmed Killed In Yobe Attack, 89 Injured


The attack which took place on Monday in potiskum, Yobe state  30 persons has died. According to the Executive Secretary of Yobe Hospitals Management Board, Dr Mamman Mohammed, has confirmed the death of  30 persons, 89 injured.
According to Vanguard, Dr Mamman Mohammed made this known to the state Governor Ibrahim Gaidam, while on a visit to the Potiskum General Hospital to see the victims.

Dr Mamman Mohammed said due to the severity of the injuries some of the victims suffered, they’ve been referred to tertiary health institutions in Azare and Nguru for further treatment.
Governor Gaidam who condoled with the Shiite group on the death of their members stated that:
“The government will bear all the medical bills of the victims, including those referred to other hospitals outside the state”.
The suicide bomb attack which was reportedly targeted at the members of the Shia group, the Islamic Brotherhood of Nigeria left scores injured and dead including women and children.
