The controller General Of Rivers State Road Traffic Management Authority (TIMARIV) has asked the workers to continue their normal duties in the state for the min time. The workers has been off their work for some time now because they have not been paid by the Rotimi Amaechi
administration, the former governor of Rivers State. But the acting controller general of TIMARIV has assured the workers to go back to work, that the matter will be looked into by the present administration.
Meanwhile, the Port Harcourt City Local Government Task Force has been devolved. This took place yesterday due to some group of people parading themselves as task force in the area, that went about collecting money from shop owners in the area.
