Doctors In Rivers Gives Wike 48hrs To Pay Salary Or They Will Embark On Strike


The resident doctors association in Braithwaite Memorial Specialist Hospital (BMSH) in Port Harcourt have given governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike of Rivers State 48hrs to pay them their four months salary for their houseman-ship or they will embark on two days warning strike beginning from Friday 24th July and
Monday 27th and at the end  if the governor did not  pay them they will embark on indefinite strike. The president of the association of resident doctors in Rivers State, Dr. Emmanuel Furo while speaking to the press said that it is not good for doctors to embark on strike but on this situation they don't have any option but to go on strike.
