Petrol Tanker Kills 12 In Bauchi

Twelve people, among them 11 members of the Danga Vigilante Group established by the Bauchi State Government, have been killed while one other person sustained serious injuries when a tanker
carrying petroleum product had a head-on collision with the Toyata Hilux vehicle they were travelling in.The incident happened along the Bauchi-Ganjuwa Road, Bauchi State.Police Public
Relations Officer in the state, Haruna Mohammed, who confirmed the incident in a statement in Bauchi on Friday, said that 13 people were involved in the accident which occurred on Thursday afternoon.He said that a combined team of Police and Federal Road Safety Corps immediately arrived the scene of the crash and rushed the victims to the hospital where doctors certified 12 of the victims including the driver of the tanker dead.He said,
